Free Comic book day~

Ok So I know im an Uber nerd and thats all ok with Me....
I wanted to share with U what else I picked up in May... @ the FREECOMICBOOKDAY ~

Sorry Im So late with my postings... I am just now able to post. I was Super excited and couldnt wait to get my hands on some free comics!!!

I was able to get a few, but basically its on a first come, first served basis and it Started as early as 8am...  I however worked pretty late the night b4 so I didnt get my butt moving that morning till about 10 am... needless to say, I didnt get to my local comic book shop till almost 12 noon.

Most of the books they had left were quickly being depleted and I was only able to snatch up 4 in all....

The old saying, 'The early bird catches the worm'  was evident for me that day...
I really wanted to snag up the Jim Henson's one about a mouse and a bird or something like that... but I was there so late in the day ... they were already gone !

Ugh!

Oh well...  I still picked up some good ones though... I just Still have yet to read them.

What I got was:

 Kung Fu Panda,  Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Young Justice league w/Batman, and
Capt. America w/Thor: The mighty fighting Avengers

  Next year in May I am going to make sure I get there much earlier and I hope they have out just as cool free comics as they did this Year!

88 beauty haul & swatches...

Ok I know its been awhile since my last post, Ive been neglecting this blog and havent had time to post much of anything thing... Sorry!

I was looking through my pictures and realized I had some polishes I wanted to share with you all...  

A while back, sometime in May I made an internet purchase on 88beauty.com
and picked up the China Glaze Island Escape collection and a few others by Orly...

                                  

I was gearing up for summer and wanted to find some new bright colors to add to my ever growing collection.

I also am a HUGE fan of China Glaze .... I didnt own any Orly polish prior to this so I wanted to try a few of them as well~

Here I just wanted to do an update from my earlier blog post of my nail swatches.
I was just too darn lazy and didnt want to type in all the color names and brands. So I decided to just vlog about it. Hope this helps.

A Gremlin wrecks havoc !!!

Do U remember this cute little guy???

This is Gizmo...He's a mogwai,  an impish little fellow from that 80s movie, The Gremlins.

I always thought he was so SUPER cute and wanted one all for myself.

As it turns out there were a few Key Rules that came along with him on Christmas eve....

Rule # 1: Avoid Bright Lights !
Rule # 2: Don't feed them after Midnight !
Rule # 3: Don't ever get them wet !

Okay so what happens then??

Bright lights make him scared and freak out...
If hes fed after midnight he spawns into Spike....
and if they get wet.....
They multiply into more mogwais'


Ok so where am I going with all this???

I am pleased to announce our new family addition, Gizmo!!!
here he is!! He was born February 3rd, 2011
He is 7 weeks old and So cute....

but hes also Our little Gremlin.....

He is so curious and loves us already! My hubby brought him home around St. Pattys Day from work. As it turns out, he has a friend who had a small litter of pups and his friend is moving where he cannot have dogs, so he gave him to us.

Right away I knew his name was Gizmo, or lil Gizzy
He is part Pug, Chihuahua, and Border Collie mix~
 A Chugollie ?? if that makes sense.  lol

Polish Hoarding, So I'll Swatch some....

Okay so Im sure most of you ladies out there do it too, do you have an insane want for Nail polish like me???
I dont know why we do it but I cant seem to get enough. Every time I am out shopping and Im near the Health and Beauty aisle in the stores, Im totally distracted as to the sole purpose I was out shopping in the 1st place.... NO LIE! The Polishes call out to me..... "come chk us Out! "

Before I know it Im elbows in, knee deep in a colorful array of all shades and hues of the stuff...
Nail Polish!!!  I think its an addiction... Really!!
I only have 10 digits and 10 toes yet for some strange reason I have started hoarding and collecting polish.
Oh and btw... Not just polish either, All things Nails too.  I picked up paint wheels as pictured here so I could do different designs and play with my polishes.... Hmm WOW I have way too much time on my HANDS....lol
or just polish.
